Our Story
Many great dishes are finished with a flourish of sauce, but ours starts with one: authentic, delicious mayonnaise. When chef Maarten Groen arrived from the Netherlands, he drew on his European heritage to craft a mayonnaise that Kiwis fell in love with.
Over 40 years, Frenchmaid has grown with evolving tastes - expanding from that original mayonnaise to a range of sauces, dressings, and condiments, from classic hollandaise to bold new flavours. Today, we continue helping chefs across Australasia and the Pacific elevate every dish with flavour, quality, and versatility.
